Machine learning is becoming a prominent approach to data analysis in medical imaging and science. Due to the high amount of information and information complexity derived from different biomarker measurements, manual evaluation of such data is unrealistic. Therefore, the application of high-performance, cloud-based decision making models may get into reach. Since higher-level, textural analysis of in-vivo images is already feasible, in-vivo cloud-computing of tumour characteristics may become a potential target for clinical patient management in the near future.
